IBM 200GB/400GB LTO-2 Backup Tape (Retail Pack)

The IBM 08L9870 is an LTO-2 cartridge that has a native 200 GB capacity and 400 GB compressed capacity. The LTO-2 08L9870 also has a 40 MB/s native and 80 MB/s compressed transfer  rate. IBM's advance LTO-CM (Linear Tape Open'Cartridge Memory)  which allows transfer of data with IBM 2  drives through radio waves allowing for faster transfer of data that is  cartridge relevant such as history of usage and errors etc. The IBM 08L9870 is compatible with LTO-2, LTO-3 and LTO-4 (read-only) tape drives and  auto-loaders and is not compatible with LTO-1 tape drives and auto-loaders.
